This is a Chinese style men's dress shirt made exclusively for Mystic Clothing customers. The fabric is 50% cotton and 50% linen making this shirt extremely comfortable and features the traditional Mandarin collar and Chinese frog enclosures instead of buttons. A frog enclosure is like a loop of fabric acting as the female side and a single small knot of fabric acting as the male side. Although inspired by typical clothing styles from Asia, many styles made for the Asian market are less than remarkable in terms of overall quality. However, we've gone to great lengths to ensure our clothing is outstanding in terms of overall quality. Also important to note is that the manufacturer of this shirt (and our other shirts in this style) makes their garments with thick hand-loomed cotton that is REALLY comfortable as well as long lasting. The manufacturer is a friend of ours and runs a small but detailed operation wherein quality is considered more important than quantity. Every piece has been passed through a rigorous inspection process by their QC team which really does a great job of maintaining a high standard.

I often look for Chinese or Asian styled shirts, but most of the items, even those marked "XL," are usually suited to Asian body types. It has always been extremely difficult for me to find clothes that fit (I am 250lbs at 6'3"). But your shirts fit me quite nicely. I bought two band collar shirts, one 2x and one 3x. I usually wear 2x but I couldn't get the other color I wanted, black, in 2x. I love them. They are stylish and are easy to care for. Yes. Very much. At a guess i would say they look like twice what I paid. When I get them professionally pressed this may change. It could go to three times as great. I don't iron. I think they may be down a touch in size. But a cruel person could suggest that I might be up a touch in size. At any rate the 2x looks like a shirt and the 3x looks a little more like a tunic. I really like the shirt that I bought from you. I do a magic act and needed something a little bit different. the look seemed to go over well and the fit was great. I did have to roll up the sleeves to perform but when not doing tricks I liked the sleeves down. I hope the shirt does not shrink when washed the fit is great right now it does seem to run a little smaller than other shirts I normally get 3x. I just have a little extra room in this shirt but as I'm sure you know everyone seems to have a little bit of a different size. I'm hand washing it and I hope that it stays the same size. love the look of the weave of the fabric. I'm delighted with my purchase. The pricing is good, the fabric is heavier than I had expected. The sizing is about what I was expecting for a Chinese shirt, although I was pleasantly surprised to find the shirt a little longer than I have been able to find elsewhere. I don't know where you get your shirts, but it is nice to see someone who understands that Westerners are large. For years I have dealt with Himalayan Crafts in Toronto, and have had occasion to commiserate with the owner of the store, who tells me he has difficulty explaining that the West really does make MUCH larger people. His suppliers do not believe him, and the result is clothing that is too tight in the waist and shoulders, or sleeves that are too short and too close fitting. I have enjoyed the clothing I ordered from your company very much. The fit is perfect for my needs, and the material is an excellent quality and very comfortable. The sizing is good, though I made the mistake of heat-drying the first couple of shirts I ordered and they shrank quite a bit. I ordered a larger size the next time, and I've been happy with them. The length of the sleeves is perfect; I have long arms and often have trouble finding shirts that don't creep up my forearms. I would like to see some pants in the same material. The samurai pants at your site would interest me if not for the Chinese character on the leg. I prefer plain.Thank you for the email and the great service.
